Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and donated prizes, the raffle raised £680 towards our still rising total of £7,284... **PARTY CANCELLED**
Due to unforeseen circumstances we have sadly decided to cancel our ‘We did it Party’ on Sunday May 3rd. We will still draw our raffle over the bank holiday weekend, behind closed doors, and list all the winners on here on Bank Holiday Monday. In the meantime we still have an opportunity to show off our London Marathon medals at the charity quiz on the 30th April at The Forester - Deal so all is not lost. Sorry love from Julie & Geeta x

👋 Julie here! Todays post is all about support, family and friendship... Just under two weeks to go and I completed a short solo taper run today and when you only have your own head for company it makes you realise how important it is to have support, not just in a challenge like this but in everything you do... anyone who knows me knows I am putting everything I have into this! Is it going to be hard? Of course it is, we will be running 26.2 miles!! Am I enjoying the 16 week relentless training plan of early mornings, long runs, and healthy eating, not all the time, no!! However when I have my husband Paul, family Janette and Andrew, Adam and Phil, Jennifer and gary, Lily and Poppy, and everyone else I know supporting me every step of the way, and of course my best friend Geeta running by my side and getting me through the tough times with encouragement, pep talks, hugs, fruit shoots, milkshakes and oodles of laughter, it makes me realise this would be a lot harder on my own! So thank you everyone for all the support throughout this journey, and of course if anyone wants to donate to our cause, the link is below...

Help Julie Scott raise money to support Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex

Wrapped up like Michelin Men, we arrived early doors (6am) to do our Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex charity bootfair for our London Marathon fundraiser at Tilmanstone. Everything you see was kindly donated by friends and family. We raised an incredible £250 which includes £28.50 which Julie had sold on Vinted. Sorry Julie I didn’t take any photos of you 🫣 Our unsold goods we then hand delivered and donated to the Pilgrims Hospice charity shop in Deal. As Julie is a registered donator there, anything they sell they will receive gift aid. Win:Win all around.
