The Ravens women’s football Dartmouth Women’s Football. We train on a Tuesday evening 5:45 - 7:30pm. Our Summer location is Dartmouth Academy, TQ6 9HW. It’s a FREE & FUN workout!

We appreciate that Football Clubs need to balance their books, but this is a huge blow to the support and growth of the women’s game in the South West. A time when women and girls need to be inspired, feel confident and build on a positive movement. Our grass roots clubs need large regional women’s teams to help encourage interest and player recruitment at the base levels. We know young ones training with Argyle and how deflated they must feel now 😢

Lots of fun. We can’t wait to start building on what we learnt from this game.

A huge thank you to Buckland Athletic Football Club U18s girls for travelling to play at Longcross against The Ravens.

We are all extremely grateful to have had this experience and we learnt a lot! We had a great time.

It was so lovely to meet you and we look forward to seeing you again at the VX3 Stadium, Homers Heath at the end of the Summer!

We looked at set piece corners last night as well as passing with strong and weak foot, and throw-ins, before going in to the usual match.

We meet up this Friday for our next 11 v. 11 against Buckland Athletic U18s Girls. Get that rest and nutrition in ladies. Oh, and plenty of stretching out those legs and ankles please…

Training last night was high tempo with good positioning, passing into space, and pass move and receive movement was great. We’re now moving in to more defined roles and trying to build structure. There were some great link ups, super defending from both teams and the throw ins are noticeably more considered!!

POTM goes to, of course, Lexie for a very impressive performance of skill, speed and strength. At just 13yrs old, we are desperate to ‘sign’ her!!

An impromptu Hen do followed for a couple of our Ravens. Silly vibes obvs peaking! Thanks for a great evening @⁨Jana Hinton⁩ and @⁨~Phoebe⁩ - so much fun. And thanks to @⁨~Pem⁩ and @⁨~Angie Pangie⁩ for getting married and giving us all an excuse for a mid-week party! 😂🍾🍾

Woohoo! It’s Sunny AND we’re moving to our full size summer pitch for training tonight.

Join our growing squad and be part of an awesome, friendly team. Laughs guaranteed.

We had a bit of fun last night playing football skittles before playing a match laid out on a bigger pitch to help improve fitness and positioning. Everyone is now grasping the advantages of positioning, which helps to both conserve energy for when you are needed and to protect against counter attacks. Marking is also on the up making tactical moves increasingly important.

Great game tonight ladies.

There’s a lot more maturity in the play now (not necessarily in the banter!) 😂

POTM tonight was Emma, who really began to position herself well, read the game and stay calm under pressure. Welldone Emma on a super effort!
