GET ACTIVE IN 2024!

Our brand new Sports & Skills Development Programme is set to launch in Jan 2024.

Aimed at children aged 6 to 16, we will be running weekly Sports sessions including:

- Badminton
- Cricket club
- Table Tennis
- Junior Multi Sports

As well as regular skills development and leadership workshops.

These sessions will be run by dedicated coaches and mentors and will take place at locations across Barking & Dagenham and Redbridge.

We are recruiting part time Sports Coaches and Youth Mentors/Trainers to join our growing organisation. These are exciting, paid roles and provide the opportunity to shape and inspire the lives of young people in our community.

Sports Coaches (Job Ref SC045):

Are you passionate about Sports? Do you have what it takes to Coach young people aged 6 to 18? If so, why not join our team and become a Sports Coach!

We are currently recruiting Sports Coaches to run children's multi sports activities during the week including children's athletics and Badminton sessions. This is a fun and exciting role that offers a great deal of variety and job satisfaction.

Previous Sports Coaching experience is highly desireable although we will consider applications from candidates without prior experience where they can demonstrate a strong passion and ability for sports, particularly badminton/indoor sports, are otherwise fit and healthy, and have the confidence and ability to inspire and lead young people through a varierty of sport including; badminton, gymnastics and indoor activity games and more.

You must be available at least once to twice a week (for up to 2 hours per session). Our sessions are based in Redbridge/Barking and Dagenham. We are particularly interested to receive applications from women living in and around East London.

This is a paid role and you will recieve plenty of free training, have the opportunity to help shape the lives and wellbeing of young people and do something amazing for the local community.

Youth Mentors/Trainers (Job Ref YM045)

We are recruiting Mentors and Trainers to run indoor coaching courses for young people who would like to take up coaching/leadership training.

You should have a previous coaching/teaching background, particularly coaching young people, understand how to inspire and mentor young people to take leadership and coaching roles (both Sports and non sports)

Sessions will take place up to 2 hours per week and taught in our coaching centre in Barking and Dagenham (RM8 3RA) so candidates must be prepared to travel to our site on a weekly basis.

**Part Time Project Coordinator** (Immediate start, competitive salary)

TFFN are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join our friendly team in East London.

This is a fantastic role with plenty of development opportunities. You will help shape the lives of young people in the community by creating and running enriching skills-based programmes and workshops designed to encourage creative thinking, promote positive values and upskill young people in our community. You will also have the opportunity of coordinating exciting school holiday camps/workshops which include organising residential trips and fun, outdoor activities to support mental and physical wellbeing.

This is a part time role so may suit a recent graduate, university student or someone taking a gap year who is seeking professional work experience. Although previous experience is not essential, please note we will priortise candidates who have had previous experience of working with young people in a professional work environment.

We are really proud to announce that our partner organisation The Future Focus Network won the "East London Community Heroes Award" for Outstanding Initiative in Sports Development.

Our club chairman, Abdul Hamid was also nominated as "Community Hero of the Year".

We have worked with The Future Focus Network for several years in delivering their sports sessions and it's great thst our community work has been recognised in this way!

The team at the Future Focus Network wish to express our deep sadness on the passing of Her Majesty the Queen.

As part of the recent The Future Focus Network established a new community initiative in June 2022 called the . Since it's inception, the JLP has supported many young people providing a range of activities that support their mental, cognitive and physical wellbeing.

We sincerely hope that the JLP can build a lasting legacy in the years to come that will be a fitting tribute to Her Majesty and her lifelong dedication to public service.
