Next up is Thomas! 💙❤️
It's hard to believe that the season just gone was Thomas' first ever playing for a team. From the moment he stepped onto the pitch, he looked like he'd been doing it for years.
A complete natural, Thomas gives 110% wherever he's asked to play. Whether it's at the back, in midfield or further forward, he always puts the team first and never lets anyone down.
Week in, week out, Thomas turns up with a smile on his face, ready to work hard and do whatever is needed for the team. That's why he's quickly become one of our very own Mr Reliables — selfless, hardworking and simply loves playing football.
We're incredibly proud of everything you've achieved so far, Thomas, and we can't wait to watch you go from strength to strength this season.

⚽️ MEET THE SQUAD FOR 2026/27 ⚽️
We're absolutely buzzing that Tobie is back with us for another season! 💙❤️
Our rock at the back, who can also smash in the odd worldie, Tobie has been instrumental to our success this season. Defenders don't always get the credit they deserve, but anyone who has watched Tobie play knows exactly how important he is to this team. He gives attackers nightmares and brings confidence and calmness to everyone around him.
The whole squad feels stronger when Tobie is on the pitch, and his commitment, bravery and determination have been there for all to see.
Sadly, he's currently sidelined through injury after putting his body on the line for the badge — a testament to the character he shows every single week. We can't wait to have him back doing what he does best and wish him a full and speedy recovery.
Tobie has a huge future in football ahead of him, and we're all incredibly proud to be part of his journey.

We're absolutely delighted to have James Virgo signing on for another season at Llanyrafon AFC.

Loyal players are hard to come by, and we're incredibly lucky to have someone like James who gives everything for the badge. As our captain, he leads by example every single week – encouraging his teammates, setting high standards and always putting the team first.

Not only is he a fantastic footballer, he's an even better lad. Kind, hardworking and respected by everyone around the club, James truly embodies what Llanyrafon is all about.

We can't wait to see what another season brings for our skipper. Here's to more memories, more goals and more proud moments in Llany colours.

We're absolutely buzzing that Tayte is signing back on for another season! 💙❤️
Although he only joined us late last season, Tayte has already made huge strides and continues to improve every time he pulls on the shirt.
Strong in defence and never failing to make us laugh, he's a proper team player and an absolute joy to have around the squad. His personality is infectious, and we're incredibly lucky to have him as part of our team.
We're excited to watch him continue to grow and can't wait to be part of his footballing journey for another season.

Arlo is the type of player every team loves to have. Blessed with incredible pace and a wand of a left foot, he's always looking to make something happen. Whether he's flying down the wing, taking on defenders or delivering dangerous balls into the box, he's a player that gets teammates excited and supporters off their seats.
What makes Arlo even more special is the person he is. He's a hugely popular member of the squad & loved by all.
His love for the game make him a fantastic teammate and a pleasure to coach.

Over the years he's been with us, Oren's confidence has grown tremendously, and he's become one of the biggest voices on the pitch. Whether he's asked to play in goal, at the back, or further up the field, he always gives 100% and never lets the team down.
A player every coach loves to have in their squad — dependable, hardworking and always ready to do a job for the team. Simply put, he's Mr Reliability.

First up is our number one, Jaxon! 🧤
Jax made his debut season between the sticks this year, and what a season it has been. His natural ability, bravery and determination have made him a standout performer, and he's already proving to be an unbelievable talent.
We're absolutely delighted to have Jax signing on for another season. The future is incredibly bright for this young goalkeeper, and we can't wait to see what the season ahead has in store for him.

We would like to congratulate one of our own, James Virgo, on being selected to attend trials for Newport District Schools Football. ⚽👏
James has been a cornerstone of this team since day one. As our captain, he has consistently led by example, not only with his ability on the pitch but also through the way he supports and encourages those around him.
An incredibly talented and skilful player, James combines his footballing ability with outstanding passion, determination, and commitment. He hardly ever missed a training session or match, and his attitude, effort, and dedication are exactly what every coach hopes to see in a young player.
We are all immensely proud of what James has achieved so far. On behalf of everyone at the Under 9s, Llanyrafon AFC, and the wider Llanyrafon and Cwmbran community, we wish him the very best at his trial.
