This Bank Holiday weekend saw the Llany Girls head to Tenby for Tour 2026!

The girls had a great weekend from our U7s up to U15s teams who all competed in games on the Saturday.

A massive thanks to Gareth and all at Tenby AFC , plus the other sides who joined us to play some excellent football across all ages.

A great time was had by all and we look forward to doing it all again in 2027!

Finally, thanks to Tom and the organising committee, all players, parents and families for making it an epic weekend of girls football! 👍🏻👏👏⚽️⚽️

Llanyrafon AFC is 60 years old this year!

A huge thank you to all of the players, coaches and parents over the years who have helped the club reach this huge milestone - 29 age groups now and counting!

We have boys, seniors, pan disability and of course girls teams!

We would love to welcome new girls teams at U4s/U5s next season to keep new age groups coming in.

What a way to finish the season! The U7s received an invite to play a friendly today against Wattsville and Rhymney. It was full of new challenges as the girls got a fantastic taster of playing 5v5! The girls adapted to bigger goals, larger pitches, and keepers whilst still playing amazingly with smiles on their faces. It has been an incredible year of growth, and we are really looking forward to seeing more of this next season.

Our two standout players today were Zoë, who was confident on the ball, driving play forward, and scoring a great goal, and Harper, who played brilliantly in defence, covering every blade of grass and becoming a real headache for the opposition attackers.

Once again, a huge thank-you to our fantastic sponsors, VA Petersons, for keeping the girls looking smart all season long. As always, your support is incredibly appreciated!

Tough day today but battled well. Some good goals scored and good defending with some strong tackles.
Lady of the Day goes to Zoe who played strong today and even chose to play on when injured 👏

Clarets
Great football from the clarets this morning in the sun! some tough competition in the opening games was testing but the girls never gave up and gave it their all. Girls were dominating in the latter 2 games, with some great team play, huge efforts when defending and multiple goal scorers. POTD went to Lyra who unselfishly took it upon herself to play a defensive role and causing hassle for any player who came into our half 👏

Great effort all round ... well done everyone! 🌟
