π A BIG WEEK NEXT WEEK! π₯
π2026 AUTUMN EQUINOX π at Balmalcolm Den and with Viking Heat Retreat next Wednesday (23rd Sept) . A really special event where we spend an evening unwinding with yin yoga and setting our intentions for the rest of the year before casting them into the fire. Homemade soup and bread with other snacks will be provided then a freeform sauna and cold dip session. Acknowledging the turning of the year as days grow shorter and temperatures drop, finding time together at the middle of the week helping us find our personal alignment.

βQUESTIONS OR QUERIES πfeel free to drop me a message but for folk wondering what Yin Yoga is and if it is for you have a read π
β―YIN YOGA is a gentle floor-based practice. There are no flows or sequences, we hold simple postures for a few minutes. These are designed to effect the connective tissues and the joints of the body rather than the muscles, we use props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks to support us. It is a slow and quiet practice that helps our mind as much as our body. There is no need to be flexible, we work with were the body currently is not where we want or expect it to be.
