What a fantastic day for this golf club!

Our Open competition attracted a remarkable turnout, showcasing the incredible support and enthusiasm for golf within our community. The atmosphere throughout the day was outstanding, with all players enjoying the course with its amazing views!

The excitement didn’t stop there, as the day was followed by our Junior Ken Illingworth Trophy competition, where one young golfer produced an absolutely unbelievable score of 20 points over 9 holes! A truly exceptional performance and a glimpse of a very bright future ahead for him and the club.

Days like this remind us of the huge standing our club holds within the local community. Seeing so many golfers, junior and adults, families, volunteers, and supporters come together is what makes our club so special.

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make it such a memorable occasion. A great day for Grange Fell Golf Club!

A fantastic day at our Junior Golf Sixes competition! ⛳️

We welcomed 30 children from across the area, with teams representing Dunnerholme Golf Club (2 teams), Ulverston Golf Club & Pro Shop, Barrow Golf Club and Grange Fell.

The players competed over six holes in a fun Texas Scramble format, and the course was in superb condition — huge thanks to our Greens staff for all their hard work.

A special thank you to Steve Grundy for organising such a brilliant event, and thanks also to all the helpers on the day and the Ladies for sorting the food.

It was a great day for Grange Fell and a real reflection of how our junior section is going from strength to strength! 👏🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️
