But the right saddle can be a gentle, thoughtful compromise that allows them to move freely, stay comfortable, and feel heard.

🐴 Case Study Spotlight – Silver Pony 🐴

This beautiful little mare hasn’t been ridden for 8 months, yet she came out today with her usual heart of gold. 💛

She joined me for one of my saddle fitting case studies – the challenge being to find a comfortable, secure fit for a horse who isn’t exactly saddle-shaped. After plenty of careful assessment, we found her match: a Wintec 500 All Purpose, 16.5” with a 3XL gullet bar.

I’m so pleased with how she felt in it – and I can’t wait to see her go under saddle again. I have a feeling she might just surprise us all in a little dressage test soon. ✨
