Update for Cullompton pump track…. Whilst things were gathering pace early, it’s certainly not moved for a while, the town council are very keen to help with funding, we have been offered potential land to build it on, we have to set up a community interest company and I have currently failed to do that, this is to be official to get funding ect, in my ignorance I thought we could gain interest and the council would get the project rolling, if anyone has experience with community interest projects and would like to take the administration on that would be great, if not we will get there but slowly, hopefully there will be a decent pump track in Cullompton one day

Update… been offered some land kindly by the CCA fields pending approval, still waiting on correspondence from the town council and Mid Devon, will update you with any real progress hopefully in the near future.

First post for the Cullompton pump track!!!!
Having gained interest in the pump track idea, conversations have been conducted with the council, they are positive about the project and discussed a few location options. Funding and permissions won’t be a 2 minute job, I wanted to get the page up and running to show the council that we have support from the community to get it up and running, ultimately to give everyone another opportunity for outdoor activity within the town. I would hope that we wouldn’t settle for a makeshift project and that we get somthing for people worth travelling to from out of town, maybe bringing more trade to town and putting Cullompton on the map for cycling. Tiverton, Willand, Kentisbeare and Hemyock do have bike tracks currently and it would be great to have something for everyone to use, please get behind it, I think it could be awesome!!
