A great chance for our over 40s to get well needed minutes before a big semi final

Defeat in crumlin.
A promising start saw the lads take the lead through a fantastic terminator strike - great to have the big man back fit
Sadly though that’s as good as it got.. a fit well organised Glenavy Youth got into their stride after going a goal down and made amends striking back twice and taking the lead at the break. HT 2-1
Unfortunately despite the best efforts of all that turned up, the glenavy attack proved to be irresistible and it was actually a testament to those in purple that the scoreline didn’t end up a lot worse. FT 5-1
Despite the score, the match was actually brilliant fun to play in, Stevie and the lads are a really great group and were very welcoming - I am sure we’ll get another game to seek revenge in the near future!
The most important outcome of Sunday was of course our aim to fundraise for our nominated charity, Helping Hands Autism Support
We managed to put another £120 together on the day bringing our running tally for the season to £4314
