FIGHT REPORT
Sunday The 19th of October
Dynamo Boxing Club were out Again.
This time we had Two of our more Experienced Boxers Competing on A Show in Halstead in Kent
Kyan Macdonald Vs Alfie Dixon, This Bout was made over 3x3 Minute Rounds .
Harry Fidler Vs Louis Monk
Over 3x2 Minute Rounds.
Harry was on first .
Boxing an extremely strong boy , Harry got caught very early in the 1st round which put him down. Showing incredible determination, Harry got back up to see the 1st Round out .
2nd Round Harry boxed beautifully using his feet and his boxing skills to imo take the 2nd Round.
3rd Round Louis had got back his 2nd wind and did not stop coming forward to deservedly get the nod . This does not reflect on Harry’s performance in which Harry showed incredible spirit and resilience against a very strong boy . Harry Fidler you should be extremely proud of yourself.
Next up was our Kyan Macdonald.
Kyan boxed completely to his corner’s instructions.
Kyan caught his boy early in the 1st round which made his boys knees dip and Alfie showed incredible resolve to not go down .
2nd Round Kyan continued to catch his boy with heavy shots and imo had won the First 2 Rounds.
3rd Round
Again Kyan was catching Alfie with strong shots, Alfie came back into the bout in the last 30 Seconds with some success only for Kyan to catch him again with solid shots.
To our surprise Kyan did not get the Decision losing on a 3-2 Split Decision.
Alfie Dixon after his hand was raised immediately came to our corner to offer Kyan a Re-Match which is a sign of a true Gentleman and Sportsman .
Thank you Alfie , An offer we shall accept.
In closing I would like to say Thank you to The Supervisor of the Show who was very approachable and helpful and especially the Referees who displayed a very sound knowledge of the Sport of Boxing allowing the Boxers to Box without seeing the need for unnecessary 8 Counts allowing the Bouts to flow .
Dynamo Boxing Club are out again on Friday the 24th of October. Watch this Space . !!!!

FIGHT REPORT

Dynamo Boxing Club attended their First Show of the Season with 3 Boys matched on the Smokey’s Boxing Club Show .
The 3 Boys matched were
Cian Walsh 58kg
Yusuf Ahmed 81kg
Sammy Wilkinson 57kg
First up was Cian boxing a younger but slightly more experienced boy Maxsims Kirillos from Maidstone BC
This was not the Cian we know coming off a 3rd Round Stoppage Win in his 1st Bout Cian never got going losing on an unanimous Decision.
Next up was Our Yusuf Ahmed vs Harry Ahenkorah- Nisan of the Host Club
Boxing a strong boy and trying to cope with a very unreliable Head Guard proved to be the undoing of Yusuf , The Headguard came loose for the 3rd time falling over Yusuf’s eyes , Yusuf stepped back only to be caught with a huge swinging right hand that landed right on his chin , This was not a reflection on the bout at all but Yusuf went down heavily as you would and the Referee quite rightly brought the Bout to an end . Complete Bad Luck for Yusuf and not a reflection on his Boxing skills or ability.
Last but certainly not least was our Sammy Williamson vs Zain Shah of The Lion Boxing Academy.
This was both boy’s first bout but Sammy’s boy boxed like he had been in the Gym for years , Sammy struggled to close the distance on the boy who was also a switch hitter losing the first 2 rounds clearly however Sammy bit down on his gumshield , stayed composed and showed true grit and determination and certainly shared the final round with a very talented opponent.
As a footnote I would like to add all 3 Coaches were immensely proud of all 3 Boys in what proved to a fruitless night for Dynamo Boxing Club.
Sunday the 21st of September and Dynamo Boxing were out again this time on a Skills Only Show hosted by Lion Boxing Academy.
We had two young boys on this Show both competing in their first Skills Bout
The two Boys Boxing were
Damien Patru and James Conroy .
Both Boys boxed incredibly well , James in particular so well that The Supervisor of the Show told us afterwards that James will no longer be eligible to box in another Skills bout only full competitive Bouts from now on.
Dynamo Boxing Club is out again on Sunday the 19th of October Barry P.

Huge congratulations to my amateur boxing club.
Fight report from head coach Barry Penfold. M

Saturday the 31st of May Dynamo Boxing Club we’re out again, This time our Junior Cian Walsh was competing in his First Bout on the Royal Resistance Show in Kidbrooke Village.
His opponent Rio Gillett Web from The Royal Resistance Club was a strong Boy boxing from a South Paw Stance .
The Bout started at an explosive pace with Rio putting lots of pressure on Cian .
Cian weathered the initial pressure and started to take control with big right hands and left hooks .
The pace did not let up in the 2nd round with Cian forcing his boy to take 2 standing 8 Counts .
Both boys were clearly tired in the 3rd round but with commendable determination and will Cian forced another standing 8 count on Rio and the Referee brought a halt to the Bout .
Fantastic performance Cian
On to the next One .

From Dynamo head coach Barry Penfold.
On Saturday the 17th of May
Dynamo Boxing Club had 2 boys out on The Epsom Academy Boxing Show
Our Junior Cian Walsh was matched with Epsom’s Simeon Radev, making his debut bout.
Unfortunately Simeon came in over 3-4 kgs of the agreed weight and the Supervisor quite rightly would not allow for the bout to go ahead which was a shame as Cian had trained extremely hard for this bout but we shall look to get Cian matched again soon .

Our Harry Fiddler was on Bout 13 and, after a lengthy layoff, was matched against Fisher’s Denzil Otu at 71 kg .
Despite giving away over 3lb in weight, Harry Boxed beautifully and boxed to his Coaches Instructions, catching Otu with big overhand rights and working the body well . Harry received a unanimous decision and will be out again soon . BP

displayed a masterclass in how to deal with an extremely confident, knockout motivated opponent.
I had an inkling that our young foe would come out fast, strong but messy.
Prior to the fight, I warmed Daz up for about 40 mins drilling shot selection and distance management.
Ding ding round one.
Our opponent does exactly what I predicted.
Rushes out, throwing bombs.
Daz stabs him to the body with a left lead whilst trying to avoid everything but the kitchen sink coming at him.
It's messy.
It's frenetic.
It's potentially dangerous.
As per our warm up starter Daz gets in close, looking for a short right to the body.
He finds it and our man goes over for 10.
Box on.
It resumes at the same pace with our opponent still going for a K.O.
Daz rolls under his pressure and lands a peach of a right.
Our man crumples to the canvas.
It's all over.
And the NEW!
Huge thanks to all my clients that took time out of their day to support their trainer.
Much appreciated. M
