Sadly Modelair have announced the demise of model flying events at Old Warden for good!
This is down to a decision by Shuttleworth for whom Modelair run the event.

Just me at the field today, but had a good session with several models test flown.
Annoyingly, discovered some ass has broken the brick BBQ, by removing bricks and two of the metal poles, which are missing.
The BBQ cannot be safely used in its present condition, so back to square one!

Notice to Members:
The Fun Fly due to take place on Sunday 7th April is postponed until further notice due to high winds forecast that day.
Therefore, the March and April events will take place on a Sunday to come.

What a fantastic day had by all! Our Family BBQ really was something special this year, with a wonderful turnout. The funniest part of the day has got to be a certain someone shouting to Pete: "Tree, Tree, Tree, Treee!!! Jesus Christ, G'd TREE!!!" (8 minutes in the video).

Thanks to everyone who came, we can't wait to start planning next year's event! 😁
