Next up in our Meet the Committee series is our fantastic Social Secretary, Tracey Shepherd! 💖

Tracey has been a valued member of Tri Surrey since 2016 and is a huge part of what makes our club such a welcoming and supportive community. Whether she’s organising social events, cheering members on, or helping create the friendly atmosphere we’re known for, Tracey is always at the heart of the action.

This weekend, we are incredibly proud to have FOUR of our fabulous female athletes representing both Great Britain and Spain at the European Triathlon Sprint and Standard Distance Championships in Tarragona! 🇬🇧🇪🇸

Competing across four different age groups — 40-44, 55-59, 60-64 and 65-69 — these athletes have earned the honour of racing against the very best age-group triathletes in Europe. The championships featured Sprint Distance racing on Saturday and Standard Distance racing on Sunday, bringing together athletes from across the continent for a fantastic weekend of competition.

To qualify for a European Championship is an achievement in itself, reflecting months and years of dedication, commitment and hard work. To have four women from our club on the start line is something we are immensely proud of - well done Ladies! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

What an epic day of racing for the club! 🔥

We had members taking on middle-distance triathlons across the country as well as the local Dorking 10 Mile Road Race, with some fantastic performances all round.

A huge congratulations to everyone who trained, raced, volunteered, and supported today. Whether you were chasing a podium, a personal best, or simply enjoying being out there, you did the club proud 👏

A special shout-out goes to who secured an incredible 3rd place female overall at Grafman Middle Distance Triathlon 🥉💪

We love seeing Tri Surrey members out racing and supporting each other. Enjoy a well-earned recovery and let’s keep the momentum going! 🚴🏊🏃

Meet the Tri Surrey Committee 🤩

Next up in our Meet the Committee series is our fantastic Vice Chair, Andy Cowen 🙌

Andy plays a key role in supporting the club behind the scenes, helping to keep everything running smoothly and ensuring Tri Surrey continues to be a welcoming, supportive and successful club for athletes of all abilities.

Whether it’s assisting with club decisions, supporting at events, or helping members achieve their goals through coaching, Andy is always willing to lend a hand and contribute to the continued growth of the club.

When he’s not helping steer the club, you’ll usually find him training, racing, or cheering on fellow members from the sidelines.

A huge thank you to Andy for all the time and effort he puts into Tri Surrey! 👏

June is here and it’s shaping up to be a busy month of racing for our members! 🏊🚴🏃

From local sprint and standard-distance triathlons to middle-distance events, open water swims and running races, there are plenty of opportunities to put all that training into action.

Whether you’re chasing a podium, aiming for a PB, racing for South East Series points, or simply taking on a new challenge, we wish everyone the very best of luck this month. 💪

From ultra runs and 3km swims to half marathons, age group victories and 70.3 podium finishes, there were some incredible performances across the board over the last few weeks 💪🔥

Whether you were racing for a PB, standing on the podium, taking the age group win, or simply challenging yourself and crossing the finish line, every achievement deserves celebrating.

Hands up if you love triathlon ❤️🙌

What a fantastic start to the season! Last weekend saw plenty of our members take on the East Grinstead Sprint Triathlon, securing those all-important South East Series points 💪

Further afield, was in action at IRONMAN Mallorca 70.3— with some great racing! 💪🏻

This weekend kept the momentum going with racing at the Outlaw Triathlon, and competing at the Southport Olympic Distance Age Group Qualifier 👏

A special shoutout as well to our ultra crew— completing the Centurion 50-mile NDW, and .bayliss supporting a friend with an incredible 56km run!

The season is well and truly underway 🔥 well done everyone!
