Good Morning from UK Showdown!
It’s Day 3 of the World Games, the final day of play for our 6 players.

Yesterday was a busy one, with a team game kicking off the day, GB vs South Korea, which resulted in a loss (2-31).

Individual games followed, with players competing against players in other groups to start working out players individual placings in this tournament. This included some of our players competing against each other which resulted in some interesting games!

The day concluded with 2 team games, Czech Republic vs Great Britain (31-14) loss, but a closer game team game with some good play.

The last team game was GB vs Switzerland. GB started the game well, getting a good lead. Switzerland fought harder to catch up but the close game ended up with a goal from GB to end the game 27 - 32 to GB! The first team game win for Great Britain in this tournament!

Today is going to be another busy day with the Men’s games starting at 9am this morning, followed by the Female’s.
Good luck everyone on your last day of play! Photos to follow!
