Often when we get to our mid-thirties (or thereabouts!) we often use the excuse of "aches & pains", or "wear & tear" for the reasons that we can't progress, or even need to back off a bit with our fitness routine.

But there's a lot of stuff we can do strength-wise to keep ourselves in shape.

I offer targeted, focused PT sessions for everyday people totally geared to getting the best out of you, and achieving your aims of being ache-free and being able to perform your activities of daily living - from a short jog to carrying the shopping back - with more ease.

All plans include:

✅A fifty-minute session

Often aches and weaknesses in the legs are caused by something else that is going wrong in the complex chain of muscles of the legs.

Don’t give up - you can fight muscle imbalances and weaknesses with specific strengthening exercises.

Hip CARS - controlled articular rotations - are great for:

✅Stretching the hip & adductors and abductors
✅Increasing strength in the hip area

Tightness and stiffness if often a symptom of lack of strength and weakness in certain muscle groups.

Tightness and stiffness is often a symptom of lack of strength and weakness in certain muscle groups.

The “crab walk” with dumbbells is an excellent strengthening exercise to:

-Strengthen & isolate the glutes
-Strengthen our calf muscles
-Strengthen “tight” hamstrings
-Improve our motor skills through coordination

Often when we get to our mid-thirties (or thereabouts!), we often use the excuse of "aches & pains", or "wear & tear" for the reasons that we can't progress, or even need to back off a bit with our fitness routine.

Occassionally, these is definitely something that needs checking out by a physio and you should see a qualified professional if something persists.

But there's a lot of proven stuff we can do strength-wise to keep ourselves in shape.

Tightness and stiffness is often a symptom of a lack of strength & weakness in certain muscle groups.

From next week, I’m going to:

✅Show you functional, targeted exercises you can do for common weak spots
✅All of them will be exercises you can do at home
✅Explain the rationale

I will also cover some of these exercises in my e-newsletter: to sign up, DM me with your full name, email and “sign up”.

Thanks!
