**PLAYER OF THE MATCH**
Sunday 28th June

A fantastic performance from our buzz bomb centre forward, who gave the West Fife defence a torrid time with his non stop running, pace and ability to read and latch on to some great through balls from the defence and midfield.
This enabled Cameron to get into some great goal scoring positions and with some pinpoint finishing, grabbing a well-earned 4 goals on the day.

Special additional mention to RORY, who also bagged himself a hattrick, by showing great awareness and ability to drift in a the back post, to expertly finish cross balls.💪🏻

**MATCH REPORT**
Sunday 28th June Vs West Fifr Juniors

What a fantastic way to end the season and our final game at 9’s.

From the off and against the wind, the boys executed the game plan superbly to play through the lines quickly and keep the ball and passes low. This allow the boys to created some good chances and it’s wasn’t long before we started converting through some great finishing from Cameron, Rory and Ludo. With a solid defensive performance from the boys at the back who expertly managed the balls coming through with the wind.

The second half continued in the same manner where again some great attacking play and finishing from Cameron and Rory, which brought them both their hattricks and Archie, JJ and Ludo adding to the scoresheet.

All in in all a faultless performance and a great platform to build on for when we come back for 11’s after the break.

Well done Boys and enjoy the next 2 weeks off. 💛⚽️

**MATCH REPORT**
Sunday 21st June Vs Bayside

A hard-fought game today against Bayside in challenging heat, with both teams having to battle through difficult conditions and make the most of the much-needed water breaks... I mean hydration breaks!

The boys started brightly and took an early lead, showing good attacking intent and putting Bayside under pressure. However, after going ahead, we struggled to maintain control of the game and allowed Bayside back into the match, conceding a couple of avoidable goals.

A brilliant run through the middle of the pitch created a great opportunity for us and resulted in a penalty being awarded. Unfortunately, we were unable to convert the chance, and just before half-time Bayside added another goal, leaving us with a tough challenge going into the break.

The response after half-time was excellent. The boys showed great character, determination, and resilience, controlling large spells of possession and moving the ball well. We created two excellent opportunities to bring the game level, but it just wasn't our day in front of goal.

Despite the heat and physical demands of the match, the players never stopped working. They continued to press forward, compete for every ball, and fight right until the final whistle. While searching for a route back into the game, we were unfortunately caught by a long looping ball over the top, which resulted in a late goal for Bayside.

The final score didn't fully reflect the effort, commitment, and quality shown by the team. On another day, some of the chances we created would have found the back of the net. The boys should be proud of the way they battled in difficult conditions and continued to show great attitude and desire throughout.

A valuable learning experience and plenty of positives to take into the next match.

**PLAYER OF THE MATCH**
Sunday 21st June

An unbelievable Player of the Match performance from Ludo today. With the team short of defensive options, Ludo stepped into the left-back position and showed fantastic adaptability, looking completely at home in a role he doesn’t usually play.

From the first whistle, he worked tirelessly, covering every blade of grass in the heat. His defensive effort was outstanding, battling hard in every challenge and helping keep the team organised at the back.

What was equally impressive was his willingness to support the attack whenever the opportunity came, showing great energy and commitment at both ends of the pitch despite the demanding conditions.

A brilliant example of teamwork, attitude, and putting the team first. A thoroughly deserved Player of the Match award — well done, Ludo!
