A huge well done to our boys at today's tournament hosted by Darlington 21st Allstars.

The team topped their group without conceding a single goal, winning two matches and drawing three to book their place in the final. 🏆⚽

In the final, they faced a strong U13 girls team — playing against opponents a year older — and they more than held their own. After a fantastic effort from everyone, the game was decided by the narrowest of margins, with our lads eventually losing 1-0.

While the result didn't go our way, we couldn't be prouder of the character, determination and teamwork shown throughout the day. For a team that is still coming together, this was another huge step forward and a great way to end their first season together as runners up 🏆

Every player should be proud— the growth from September to now has been unreal.

This was year one for this squad, and what a foundation it’s been. Now we move into a big summer of tournaments, friendlies, and building even stronger connections ☀️
