Bishop Auckland Bay Horse 1-1 Crook Town Rangers.

Today we visited Bay Horse at King james school, usually a tight game between the two teams. First half Bay Horse started very bright creating a few chances. Crook finally got to grips with the game creating a few of their own but it was Bay Horse who broke the deadlock. 10 minutes before half time Crook equalised and that how it stayed till half time. Second half again Bay Horse started brightly creating good chances but Crook stood firm and defended well. Game was and to end with both teams both unfortunate not to get the decisive win but stayed 1-1 always a good tight game between us. All the best to Bay Horse for the rest of the season.

Seaham Island Social 5-1 Crook Town Rangers.

First round of the county cup and we travelled to Peterlee premier league side knowing it wasnt going to be an easy game. First 10 minutes each team had a couple decent chances but it was seaham who took the lead. Crook created a couple decent opportunities and finally made it 1-1 through Longstaff. With 5 minutes before half time Seaham made it 2-1 thats how it stayed. Second half within 30 seconds on the clock a mistake at the back and it was 3 and not long after then 4.Crook huffed and puffed but Seaham sealed the win scoring another to make it 5. It could probably have been more if it wasnt for snowdon. 5-1 is how it stayed and we exit the county cup.

Crook Town Rangers 3-3 staindrop.

This morning we hosted Staindrop with the away side coming away 4-0 2 weeks ago so knew it wasnt going to be an easy game. First half both teams created a few good chances but with 15 minutes in Crook made it 1-0 with a good finish by mcfadden. Not long after Brown made it 2-0 and thats how it stayed going into half time. Second half Staindrop started very brightly making it 1-1. A mix up in defence and they made it 2-2 shortly after. With 20 minutes remaining the ball fell nicely for Brown and from 25 yards and on the half volley straight into the top corner. 15 minutes remaining Staindrop made it 3-3. Staindrop piled on the pressure trying to get the winner but Crook defended well to see the game out.

Crook Town Rangers 2-1 Darlington Young Bulls.

Today we were in league cup action hoping to get off to a good start in cup competitions. First 10 minutes was a bit end to end until great feet from Ellison set up Brown to slot in. Young bulls came into the game created a few good chances without causing Dunn any problems really and 1-0 it went into half time. Second half Young bulls started very brightly creating chances again but from a good ball in from Robbo Brown got on the end to head home. Some good work from Young bulls and they made it 2-1. With 15 minutes remaining Longstaff was shown a red card meaning backs against the wall for us but Crook defended immensely and seen the game out and ended 2-1.

Staindrop 4-0 Crook Town Rangers.

Today crook travelled to staindrop always a difficult game. First half crook created a few good chances could possibly been 1-0 to the good Staindrop came into the game and making it 1-0 and thats how it stayed going into half time. Second half Staindrop started very brightly making it 2-0 then 3, Crook created a couple more chances before Staindrop made it 4 and thats how it stayed and they came out deserved winners.

Crook Town Rangers 4-1Craghead Legion.

Crook hosted Craghead Legion in the county cup this morning with a patched up team with a few lads away despite that Crook started well making it 1-0. Shortly after they made it 1-1 Crook scored again making it 2-1 HT.
Second half crook came out well creating a few chances with 20 mins to go Brownless scored. With 5 minutes to go Robbo made it 4-1 and that's how it ended putting ourselves into the next round of the county cup.
Goals-Brownless x2, Ellison and Robbo.

Crook Town Rangers 4-1 Darlington Shuttle and Loom.

After last weeks result against a very good opposition Crook wanted to make up and they certainly did that going into half time 4-0 with goals from Brownless,Robbo, Karl and an own goal. Second half crook slacked off a little bit with Shuttle scoring a consolation but Crook managed the game well making the final score 4-1.

Shotton Comrades 5-1 Crook Town Rangers.

Today we faced Shotton in the heart foundation. First half shotton totally outplayed us going 2-0 early on,
to be fair could have been a lot more if it wasnt for Dunn pulling off a few great saves and thats how it stayed going into half time 2-0 well deserved. Second half Crook came out a lot better Brownless dispatched a penalty to make it 2-1. Crook had a couple half chances to level but tired legs going into the last 20 minutes and shotton capitilised scoring 3 in no time and thats how it finished. Lads worked their socks off never gave up.

Crook Rangers 3-2 Bishop Bay Horse Blues.

After last week's draw against Rolling Mills crook wanted to keep the momentum going into this game knowing its always a tight game. Crook started well Johnson finding the bottom corner with a tidy finish. 10 minutes before half time Longstaff made it 2 from a corner thats how it stayed till half time. Second half Bay Horse started very brightly and deservedly making it 2-2 in no time. Long throw ins and corners from them were causing us problems. With 10 minutes remaining Brownless managed to capatilise on a long ball and slot home.Johnson had a penalty saved late on. We managed to hold on to collect the 3 points.

Crook Town Ranger 3-3 Darlington Rolling Mills.

After last week result Crook were hoping to bounce back. First half crook started very brightly and created a few chances which probably should have been infront, however Rolling Mills took the lead going into half time 1-0. Second half crook started well again this time Hawkins heading home 1-1. Crook made it 2-1 through good work and finish from Ellison
Rolling Mills made it 2-2 with a great strike, Rolling Mills then made it 3-2 through a penalty. With 15 minutes to go crook made it 3-3 through Brown and thats how it ended probably a fair result for both sides.
