Apologies for the late update, but our Under 10's secured another fantastic win on Sunday! 🏏🎉

That makes it 8 wins from 9 matches this season – an incredible achievement for the team. The players continue to make us proud with their effort, teamwork and determination every week.

A special congratulations goes to Harry, who was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance. Well done, Harry! 👏⭐

We have our final league match this Sunday, so please keep an eye on the leaderboard and keep your fingers crossed for a strong finish to what has already been a brilliant season! 🤞🏼🏆

Due to the extreme temperatures expected this week, cricket training has been cancelled.
Please make the most of the beautiful weather, stay safe, keep cool, and remember to stay hydrated. 💧☀️

🏏 Under 14s vs Long Sutton 🏏

A fantastic game of cricket for our Under 14s today as West Chinnock took on Long Sutton.

The effort, commitment, and teamwork shown throughout the match were outstanding. Every player played their part, whether batting, bowling, or fielding, and it was great to see everyone contributing to such a competitive and enjoyable game.

There were some brilliant individual performances, but the real highlight was the way the team worked together, supported each other, and never gave up. The attitude from all the players was a credit to the club.

A big thank you to Long Sutton for a great game played in excellent spirit, and thanks to all the parents, coaches, and supporters for their encouragement throughout.

Well done to all the lads today – you were incredible and should be proud of yourselves. On to the next one! 💙🏏

It was a hot morning, but our Under 10s got the job done with another fantastic win! 🏆

The team showed great determination, teamwork and energy from start to finish. We're incredibly proud of each and every one of you. A special mention to George, well done for getting player of the match.

Our Under 10s secured a fantastic 296–268 victory against Yeovil, continuing their excellent run of 6 wins.

Our Under 12s and Under 14s took their training indoors and made the most of the session, focusing on developing their batting skills. It was great to see the players working hard, showing plenty of enthusiasm, and continuing to improve despite the weather.

WMCCC Under 10’s did it again today with another fantastic win against South Petherton with a whopping 9 wickets! There really is no stopping this team at the moment — what an incredible season they are having so far.
Every single player should be so proud of themselves. It was an absolute pleasure to watch, and some of those runs had us right on the edge of our seats 🤣 Thankfully, the risks paid off!

The WMCCC Ladies team were delighted to welcome Long Sutton to our home pitch for a fantastic evening of cricket.
It was wonderful to see just how much progress the team has made, with confidence and teamwork continuing to grow each week. The match also marked the debut for a couple of our new players, with one even taking a wicket — a brilliant achievement!
Well done to all the ladies on another successful evening and another big step forward for Chinnock cricket.
A special thank you to Rose for the wonderful cream tea afterwards — the perfect way to finish the evening!
