Well time changes everything and none of us are immune. Im 60 next yr and spinal surgery is not too far away so, after 40yrs this yr on the field and 35 as training officer, I have decided to retire my post. I will still be fielding. Assuming I can get to and from the field. Therea still life in me yet.

Luke Luke Smyth and Alexander Callum Clark will be taking over from me. They've had just shy of 20yrs at it, between them, so they had more training than I had when I started it, so they should do ok.

Im not sure what my future in the group will look like but this game is full of new adventures, whatever it is. I'm still a Chosen Few.

Well that's the summer over and done with, now its time to start training with and around the horses again. We have been working the theory and body physics of a couple of new stunts, so time to start working them through in practise and put a new show together.
Lots of fun all around, I think the horses love the game as much as we do.

This is the head of our group what he says goes , he is always first in line to go on the battle field and lead his men , in his rusty well used armour
When not fighting he can be found wandering the camps with his hurdygurdy ( medieval musical instrument) with his dinner bowl and drinking cup at his hip , always up for a laugh and chat
