Why are we bringing Jack from WMC Samui to Team Chongi?

Because very few people in the UK get access to authentic Muay Thai taught by someone who has spent years coaching and developing fighters in Thailand.

This isn’t a fitness class.

With key dates and major international events now announced for the year, the Great Britain Muaythai Squad Training Days are the ideal opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills and stake their claim for upcoming international competitions.

With 2026 dates confirmed for:
🥊 Celtic Cup - Coventry (June)
🥊 IFMA European Muaythai Championships – Paris (October )
🥊 IFMA Junior World Muaythai Championships – Greece (November)

🇬🇧 GBR MUAYTHAI SQUAD TRAINING | 14th February 2026

Our first GBR Muaythai squad training session of 2026 was a fantastic success. It was excellent to see a strong turnout of experienced athletes, who played an important role in supporting and encouraging younger and newer squad members throughout the session.

The day focused heavily on technical development and skill progression, finishing with fitness assessments and medical certification — both essential requirements for athletes preparing to compete at international level under International Federation of Muaythai Associations regulations.

Athletes were also fully briefed on the latest updates to rules and competition procedures in preparation for upcoming IFMA events. The professionalism, effort, and commitment shown by everyone in attendance was outstanding.

The full GBR Team selected to compete at the 2026 Antalya Open Cup in Turkey will be announced in the coming week. The squad is excited and motivated to represent Great Britain on the International Olympic Committee-recognised Muaythai stage.

Well done to all athletes and coaches involved — the hard work continues. 🇬🇧👊
