Do you have any of the following skills/knowledge? Can you spare a few hours of time over a month?
If yes, we URGENTLY need you!!

• Website maintenance (Google Sites)
• Social media page maintenance (Facebook)
• Secretarial skills (Word, Google docs, Google email)
• A keen eye for detail (Carrying out hall checks to make sure everything is in order for hirers)
• Basic Maintenance skills (handy with a screwdriver, willing to do the odd minor repair)
• Communication skills (attending meetings and discussing matters arising, helping make decisions, following up on emails)

These are just some of the attributes our current committee members bring to the hall, and we URGENTLY need to welcome new members of the committee who can add to this skill set.

Hall hirers, users, and other members of the community are all welcome to attend our meetings to learn about, and have some input into, how the hall is run.

We are URGENTLY looking for new committee members to come and join us. The hall is run entirely by volunteers who give their time to ensure this valuable community asset continues to run successfully.

CAN YOU HELP?

The YVH CIO Trustees normally meet on the 4th Monday of January, March, July, September and the 2nd Monday in June. The YVH CIO Annual General Meeting (AGM) precedes the final Trustee Meeting of the year on the 4th Monday in November. Meetings normally take place in the Yoxall Small Hall from 7.30

Anyone can be a volunteer or Trustee for the hall, especially if you have a vested interest in the hall (run/attend classes or groups, etc). Did you know we have two rooms available to book independently of each other?
For larger group bookings/classes we have the main "Large Hall", and for smaller groups we have the "Small Hall". Both have a range of facilities, including a well equipped kitchen with serving hatch in the small hall, and a small kitchenette/serving area in the large hall.

Booking either(or both) halls is easy to do, and is all done online by following the instructions and links on our website here: Yoxall Village Hall Haslington - Bookings https://share.google/hzXeONd8GaJVL3R2n

For a one-off hire (e.g. a party, meeting, etc) you need to fill out the "Casual Booking Enquiry Form", and for more regular hire (weekly, monthly, etc) you need to fill out a "Regular Booking Enquiry Form"

We regret that we no longer allow the hall to be hired for parties past 9pm or for longer than 3 hours or due to the high risk of damage.
