💛🖤⚽ WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY — £2,700 RAISED FOR SCB! ⚽🧡🖤

On 15th August, something really special happened as Crewe Town FC and Ruskin Park Football Club came together for a fantastic day of football, fun and fundraising — all in aid of Supported Community Business

The morning saw our young players take to the pitch for a children’s charity tournament, before the coaches battled it out in the afternoon! It was a brilliant day filled with smiles, laughter, teamwork and, most importantly, a wonderful community spirit. 💛🖤🧡

We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that, between both clubs, we raised an amazing £2,700! 🎉👏

This would simply not have been possible without the incredible support we received throughout the day.

A massive thank you to every single player, parent, coach, spectator, committee member and volunteer from both clubs who gave their time, energy and support. And of course, a huge thank you to all of the vendors who came along and supported the event — your generosity helped make the day even more special. 🙏

But we want to give a HUGE, HUGE thank you to Ruskin Park FC.🧡🖤

Their fantastic idea of having players sponsored to take part in the children’s tournament made a staggering contribution towards our final total. The generosity and enthusiasm shown by everyone involved was truly incredible, and we honestly couldn't have reached this fantastic amount without you.

Most importantly, the money raised has already been donated to SCB and will be used to support their trainees and the amazing work they do. Knowing that the efforts of everyone involved will directly help make a difference to others makes the whole day even more worthwhile. 💪

Days like this remind us that football is about so much more than what happens on the pitch. It's about community, friendship, coming together and supporting those around us.

You’ve put in so much hard work, stayed focused through tough times, and shown real resilience – the exact same spirit we love to see on the pitch at Ruskin Park. Whatever your results bring, be incredibly proud of how far you’ve come.

This is just the start of your next adventure – whether you’re heading to college, starting an apprenticeship, going into work, or chasing a new dream. We’re right behind you all the way!

We are absolutely blown away by the incredible amount of money raised yesterday, and the spirit shown by every single person on and off the pitch was simply outstanding 🧡

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who played, volunteered, donated, or came along to support this charity day– none of this would have been possible without you all. 🫶

We should all be so proud of what we’ve achieved together yesterday. ✨️

What an absolutely brilliant day of football for our charity match! Both sides played with fantastic spirit👏

KEY MOMENTS:
✅ 4th min: Furber wins it back and slots home → 1-0
✅ 5th min: Crewe Town hit straight back → 1-1
✅ Furber strikes again → 2-1
✅ Furber completes his hat-trick! → 3-1
✅ Kev makes it four → 4-1
✅ Ev bags the fifth → 5-1

⏸️ HALF TIME: RUSKIN 5 - 1 CREWE TOWN

Crewe Town pull two back → 5-3
✅ Kev gets his second → 6-3
✅ Potter finally gets his goal after so many close calls! → 7-3
✅ Kev’s free-kick finds Smithy to wrap it up → 8-3
