From the countryside to the coast, and all around the world, our members get everywhere!

We’d love to see where running has taken you over the last 10 years, whether that is on a scenic run, to a distant parkrun or an exciting race!

Share your favourite photos of you in your kit from around the world, as well as your most scenic running shot. Tag us in your photos or send them our way — we’d love to see where your running takes you! 🌍

In just 7 weeks, we’ll be celebrating 10 years of CRC! 🎉

Over the past decade, CRC has not only helped our members train for their next race, but has also been a place where friendships have blossomed.

Together we have shared countless miles and memories, although some things are best left in the past (hell runner 😈), it’s been great!

Some of the members in these pictures are no longer with us, but they are fondly remembered and very much missed.

CRC is more than just the miles you run, it’s about the people you get to share them with ❤️

Feel free to share with us your favourite CRC pictures, either on here on on our memories wall - the link is in our bio and on Spond ❤️

Here are a few of our favourites, found from the archives and a few run leaders camera roles!

In 10 weeks time CRC will be turning 10!

Starting out with weekly playground sessions and social runs to the bathstore. Although we’ve come along way, some things haven’t changed much at all!

We had a little look through some of our early pictures and this is what we found:

🏃🏽‍♀️ Tilgate social runs
🏃🏼 Our first ever session
🏃🏽‍♀️ First kit launch
🏃🏼Our first indoor session
🏃🏽‍♀️ Our first track session
🏃🏼 The first of many annual bowling nights - look who won!

We are starting our birthday celebrations this week, with a series of special sessions running all the way up to our birthday. Don’t forget to check out Spond and sign up, and keep a look out on our socials as we share more memories from the last 10 years.

It’s time for an August recap 🔁

August brought us more hot weather, with a few sessions being adapted due to the heat.

We ran 20 sessions. This included:

- 2 league races - Highdown Hike and Windlesham Whip
-The finale of our 5k improvement sessions, where our runners showed excellent improvement despite the heat impacting training throughout
- A parkrun tour
-Horsham Round - a 31 mile relay on the trails around Horsham. Runners can do a minimum of 3 miles as part of a team, but our runners did a lot more!

So if you like the sound of:

🏃🏽‍♀️Interval, hill and social sessions that are held in locations that enable you to run at your own pace. Like our sessions at Tilgate, Ifield Mill Pond and West Green park this month.
🏃🏼Monthly parkrun tours - this month we visited Kingdom, celebrating a 200th parkrun and completion of a challenge.
🏃🏽‍♀️ Social runs, including our 3km Friday 3.
🏃‍♂️ Structured training sessions like our 5k improvement plan.
🏃🏼 Enjoying summer evenings on the trails.
🏃🏽‍♀️ Having the opportunity to challenge yourself at league races, or enjoy the sunset on the Downs.

Then get in touch and join us for September as we start to count down to our 10 year anniversary 🎉

Congratulations to our runner of the month for July: Jules

Jules was nominated for:

⭐️ Attending sessions and putting 100% effort in every time, despite the heat.

⭐️ Her outstanding commitment and giving 100% at every session.

The last few weeks of July were busy at CRC, despite the ongoing hot weather. Here’s a recap of what we’ve been up to:

🏃‍♀️ Members ran the Seven Stiles league race in Henfield. Guess how many stiles are involved on this fantastic and fairly flat race? (It’s not 7)!

🏃🏼 We pootled around Pound Hill and explored some new trails near the Frog and Nightgown.

🏃‍♂️ Our social runs and 5k improvement sessions continued, with all our members working so hard in challenging weather 👏🏻

🏃🏼Track took place at K2 on the last Thursday of the month.

🌈 Members headed off to Hove to take part in The Rainbow Run - a 5k race hosted by Brighton and Hove Frontrunners. A few of us stayed for a picnic after.

⭐️ Our fantastic runner of the month receiving her medal ⭐️

We were really pleased to be able to support the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Primary School Sports Day with the use of our arch way today! We hope it adds to their special day and wish all the young people (and any parents/guardians or teachers!) taking part the best of luck in all the activities.

The school have been very kind in letting us use their facilities for some of our sessions so this is the least we could do in return.

A great example of how local schools and community groups can come together to support each other!

Now, ready, steady go!

Another week, another reason to love being part of Crawley Run Crew! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️☀️

Despite a few sessions falling victim to the weather (health & safety first!), we still packed plenty into the week and it was fantastic to see so many of you out running together.

🌳 Monday – Tilgate Lake Laps
We started the week with a relaxed social run around Tilgate, enjoying the summer evening, catching up with friends and getting some easy miles in.

⚡ Tuesday – 5K Improvement Plan: Speed Session
Our 5K Improvers continued their journey with a speed-focused session, working hard on technique, confidence and pace. Great effort from everyone involved!

👟 Thursday – Social Run
Given the heat we swapped the 5k improvement plan stopwatch for conversation and enjoyed a relaxed social run instead.

🐝 Sunday – WSFRL Hornets Stinger
The week finished today with another fantastic West Sussex Fun Run League race. A huge well done to everyone who pulled on a CRC vest and tackled the Hornets Stinger (and hills in this heat!) – your support, determination and team spirit were brilliant to see.

Whether you're training for a goal, taking your first steps into running or simply enjoying being part of the community, thank you for making CRC such a welcoming and supportive club.

A big thank you as always to our amazing run leaders, volunteers and everyone who came along this week. We can't wait to do it all again next week! ❤️

Weekly Recap!

We've enjoyed another (extremely hot) fantastic week of running, with everything from social miles to speed work and a trip to the seaside!

🌳 Monday – Social Lake Laps
We kicked off the week with a relaxed social run around Tilgate Lake. Plenty of smiles and a lovely way to ease into the week together.

🏃 Tuesday – 5K Steady Paced Run
A chance to work on pacing and consistency, with runners supporting each other to hold those steady efforts from start to finish.

🏟️ Thursday – Track Session
Back to the track for an evening of speed, stamina and determination! Everyone put in some fantastic work doing interval training in the sun.

🌊 Saturday – Lancing Beach Green parkrun Tour.
A group of CRC members headed to the coast for some parkrun tourism at Lancing Beach Green. Sunshine, sea air and a post run paddle made for a brilliant morning together!

Here's to another week of running, supporting one another and making more memories together! 👟
