TWO YEARS OF SWIMMERS ED LTD💙💦

This week Swimmers Ed turns 2 🥹

What started as a big idea (and a slightly terrifying leap of faith 😅) has grown into something really special - helping so many children build confidence, life-saving skills, and a genuine love for the water.

From nervous first splashes to proud little swimmers floating independently… thank you for trusting us with your children 💙

A huge thank you as well to the incredible schools who have welcomed our pools and programmes into their communities, helping us bring swimming and water safety to even more children 🙏🏻

And of course, to our amazing teachers - thank you for the patience, encouragement, energy, and care you bring to every single lesson. The confidence our swimmers gain is because of you too 💙

To every family who has supported us, shared posts, recommended us, booked lessons, or cheered us on along the way - thank you. Truly.

Hey everyone 👋💦

With so many new faces here, we thought it was time to properly introduce ourselves…

We’re Mandy & Charlotte - the team behind Swimmers Ed Ltd💙

My journey into this world didn’t start in swimming at all…

I spent years working in aviation, but deep down I knew something was missing. I wanted to work with children and families and do something that made a difference. 🫶🏻

That’s what led me to start running sensory classes with Moo Music (loved seeing some of those kiddos in the water recently 🥳) … and not long after, I met Charlotte.

Charlotte had already built something really special. She ran her Turtle Tots business for over 12 years, helping so many children develop water confidence, safety skills, and a genuine love for being in the water.

At the time, I stepped in to teach for her and honestly, I fell in love with it from day one.
Her fun, supportive approach is something I completely embraced, and together we saw just how powerful it is when children feel safe, happy, and confident in the water.

Seeing that transformation in children never gets old 💙

But we both knew we wanted to do more…

We wanted to reach children where they already are — at school.

And that’s where Swimmers Ed was born 🎉

It came from a shared love of swimming, and a drive to change something that didn’t sit right with us ...the fact that around 1 in 3 children in the UK can’t swim.

This month is our 2nd year and we have been privileged enough to have worked with over 5,000 children through our school programmes… but one question kept coming up again and again:

“Where can we continue lessons with you?”

So we listened.

We now run lessons every day of the week across our two pool venues in Burstow, supporting swimmers of all ages and abilities.

And we’re not done yet…

We’re currently working on adding a third pool to our offering - something we’re really excited about, and can’t wait to share more on soon 👀
