What will I be focusing on?
✨️single leg strength
✨️skater stride and plyometrics
✨️endurance
✨️strong core to support the spine and rotation

I always include some form of these in all of my classes, even my core 360° class.

But why train core though? Do you include any session in your training plan?

Your core is much more than just your abs—it's a team of muscles working together to support every movement you make.

The core includes the **re**us abdominis** (the "six-pack" muscles), **obliques** (rotation and side bending), **transverse abdominis** (your deep stabilising corset), **pelvic floor**, **diaphragm**, and the muscles of the **lower back**. Together, they create stability around the spine and pelvis.

When these muscles work together effectively, they help you generate power, maintain balance, improve posture, transfer force between the upper and lower body, and protect your spine during movement.

Whether you're skating, running, lifting weights, playing sport, or simply carrying groceries and getting up from a chair, your core is constantly working behind the scenes.

A strong, well-functioning core isn't just about aesthetics—it's the foundation for better movement, performance, and everyday life. 💪
