⚽️ Great game this morning for our U10 Leopards and U11 Leopards! 🐆

The players were really pleased with themselves after taking on the challenge of playing a team a year older. Every player, in every position on the pitch, worked hard and really put the effort into our current topic of Beat, Release, Receive.

It was fantastic to see the bravery and willingness to try things, with the players showing great attitudes throughout and plenty of positive moments to build on as we continue our pre-season preparations. 👏⚽️

⚽️ Pre-season is well underway! ⚽️

This Sunday, our U10 Panthers head to Spennymoor for their first tournament of pre-season. 🐾🏆

Our U10 Leopards also get their first taste of pre-season match action on Saturday as they take on our U11 Leopards in a friendly. 🐆⚽️

Last week, we were back on the training pitch across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with our new topic focusing on Beat – Move – Receive.

The players also had the opportunity to work with our U11 Jaguars coach, James, on Saturday. He delivered a fantastic session before the group met and played a match against our new U9 Leopards.

Great to see the players learning, developing and enjoying their football as preparations continue for the new season. 🤜

⚽️🐾 CRAMLINGTON UNITED U10 PANTHERS OPEN SESSIONS 🐾⚽️

Our U10 Panthers Sunday team are holding an open session for players looking to join a great group of kids who are eager to learn and continue progressing together.

📅 Friday 19th June
⏰ 5:00pm – 6:30pm

To register your child to attend, please contact Emma on 07975801119.

Further sessions will be by invitation only:

📅 Sunday 28th June – 10:30am–12:00pm
📅 Sunday 5th July – 10:30am–12:00pm

📍 All sessions will take place at Northburn Sports & Community Centre NE23 3YP

🏆 Just over 5 weeks until the Panthers return to the Junior Champions League in Redcar!

Here’s a throwback to the gang last year as they lifted the Europa League trophy after a fantastic tournament. 🙌⚽️

🐆🏆 Flashback to 11 days ago as the Leopards celebrated their Filey Tournament victory!

A brilliant day for the team and a reward for all of their hard work, determination and togetherness throughout the season. 💙❤️

🏆 FILEY PLAYERS OF THE TOURNAMENT 🏆

As voted for by our team parents and supporters, our Players of the Tournament were Eddie and Charlie! 👏💙❤️

🥇 Day 1 – Eddie

A dramatic first day for Eddie, and not in the way we’re used to seeing!

In the opening minutes of Game 1, Eddie took a big knock and was forced off injured – something we’ve never seen before. A huge shout-out to his teammates too, with every single player offering to step up and go in goal for the team. 👏

After some time to recover while supporting his teammates from the sidelines, Eddie returned for Game 3. It took real bravery to step straight back between the sticks after what had happened earlier. He wasn’t fazed, never backed out of any situation, and gave the Leopards the boost they needed as they went on to win their tournament. Loads of important saves in the remaining games along with outstanding resilience and character! 💪🧤

🥇 Day 2 – Charlie

Charlie’s energy throughout the tournament was top class.

His work rate, determination and positive attitude shone through once again on Day 2, alongside the quality he showed on the ball. Charlie was brilliant at staying composed in tight situations and showed excellent vision, looking to break the lines with clever passes and create opportunities for his teammates.

We’d spoken to Charlie earlier in the day about how valuable he is to the team because of his ability to step into different positions and make a positive impact wherever he plays. Once again, he showed exactly that throughout the day, playing in four different positions and performing brilliantly in each one.

Defensively, he worked tirelessly to win possession back and was outstanding in 1v1 situations throughout the day. A fantastic all-round performance and thoroughly deserved recognition. 👏⚽️
