🏁 WHAT A WEEKEND AT ROWRAH! 🏁

What a first visit to Rowrah for Joe! 💙🏎️

We arrived on Friday with Joe having never driven the circuit before, so the aim was simply to learn the track, build his confidence and improve with every session.

And that's exactly what he did! 🔥

⏱️ Friday Practice: Joe started off with a fastest lap of 54.7

As he got more comfortable with the track, the times just kept coming down…

⏱️ Best lap: 54.120
🔥 Almost 6 tenths quicker than his Friday practice time and right in amongst some very experienced Rowrah drivers.

But the highlight had to be the racing! 🏁

Joe drove an absolutely brilliant heat, working his way through the pack and at one point running in 2ND PLACE! 🤯 He then held 3rd before eventually crossing the line in an amazing P4.

Watching him race at the front, battling with some of the quickest drivers in the class, on a circuit he'd only driven for the first time the day before was something special. ❤️

Then it was onto the FINAL…

Joe went into it having shown that he absolutely had the pace to compete at Rowrah, and came away from his first weekend there with so much more experience, confidence and speed.

From learning the circuit on Friday ➡️ finding nearly 0.6 seconds ➡️ racing his way into P2 during a heat ➡️ battling at the sharp end of the field…

We couldn't be prouder of him. 💙

For a first trip to Rowrah, #6 Joe McNeely certainly made his mark! 👊🔥

A massive thank you as always to everyone who supports Joe, helps with the kart and follows his racing. It really does mean so much to us.

SKA are delighted to announce a new addition for Race 6 of the UKKC at Rowrah

Here we have the very talented young man called Joe McNeely

We at SKA have been watching Joe the last season and over the moon he has decided to come to Rowrah to join us

Joe has been turning heads up at Crail of late so hoping he can continue this in a few weeks

Heat 2 - 2nd
Heat 3 - 3rd
Heat 4 - 3rd
Heat 5 - 4th

I really did fight hard and make some moves to keep positions. Have to say the Engine was just not pulling and to be honest held me back, but you take the rough with the smooth we battled on, we will be back and hopefully have better luck with engines next time. However I did make podium! 3rd place! I couldn't do it without Alan Mackinnon the main man mechanic, Mum, Garry who come along to help out and support me when they can so thank you.
