🔵⚪ BACK ON OUR TRAVELS ⚪🔵

The Rezzies are back on the road this Saturday as we make the trip to East Durham Reds FC for our Washington Aged Peoples Trophy tie.

With East Durham joining the league this season, it’s a new opponent and a new challenge for the lads — one we’re looking forward to.

Last weekend’s convincing win has certainly raised the competition for places, with everyone pushing to be in the starting XI. 💪

We’ll also be using this week’s game to support the If U Care Share Foundation’s Inside Out campaign, with September marking Su***de Awareness Month.

Sometimes what’s going on inside isn’t always obvious from the outside.

Let what’s on the inside out. 💙🤍

The fine pot grew on Saturday… 💸

Bailey, Oakesy & Alex Michaels all brought “It’s Giving Cherry” — so all three were fined. 🍒💸

McKenzie & Alex Yule both brought Rubicon — another fine each. 🥤💸

Jake was fined for not bothering. 🙄💸

🔵 Pathway from junior to adult football

You may recognise these names from some of our recent posts…

Alex Hall and Harry Pilkington have made the step up to the Reserves squad after finishing their U18 season in May, while McKenzie Wilkinson and Harry Wilson stepped up from last season’s U16s, keen to test themselves in adult football.

All four have settled in quickly and contributed early, showing the clear pathway from junior to adult football at Consett AFC.
