The qualifying window for the 2026 Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships and Home Nation Summer Meets will open on Friday 6th March and run through to Sunday 10th May.

Due to some contractor delays, both pools at Consett Leisure Centre will remain closed for a few additional weeks. We’re working hard with our contractors and now aim to reopen the pools mid to late December. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

In the meantime, residents can use any of our other Thrive swimming pools Thrive Leisure Home – Thrive Leisure Website.

Swimming lesson customers will be contacted directly with updates.
