That’s a wrap.
Luke’s cutting phase is complete.
The goal was never simply to make the number on the scale smaller.
It was to get leaner,, while retaining as much of the physique we had built as possible.
There’s an important difference.
Anyone can chase faster weight loss by continually pulling food, adding cardio and forcing the scale down.
But the objective wasn’t to see how quickly we could make Luke lighter.
It was to arrive at the end of the phase with something to show for it.
This leg 90kg → ~80kg.
And as the cut progressed, the rate of loss slowed. We expected it to. We adjusted when the data gave us a reason to and, just as importantly, left things alone when it didn’t.
Now we’ve reached the point where continuing to push for a lower number offers us very little.
So we stop.
The scale was a measure.
It was never the goal.
Cut complete.
Now the objective changes.
