A big thank you to our friends at Macclesfield Aikido Genbukan and to our special guest Ashley for coming over to train with us at Congleton Aikido Club last night.

It’s always lovely when our local groups can come together like this. We’re very lucky to have such a welcoming and supportive Aikido community around us.

If you’re new to Aikido and want to come and try, please get in touch. 📞 📧 Everyone is welcome — from complete beginners to seasoned aikidoka.

📍 Congleton practice takes place every Tuesday evening at 1st Scouts Hut, Worrall Street, Congleton, from 7:30pm onwards.

📍 Macclesfield classes take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Hollinhey Primary School, Sutton, Macclesfield. They have Junior and adult classes available.

Yamashima sensei will be coming back to Manchester in November. 🙌

Manchester Dojo are pleased to announce a course with Yamashima Sensei on the 14th and 15th November 2026 in conjunction with Cardiff Dojo.

We had a wonderful weekend trip to Madrid. It was lovely to make lots of new friends, return to a beautiful city, eat too much food and practice lots of Aikido! Thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome!

We had a fantastic time at our summer social after last Tuesday's class.

Manchester aikido will be running a beginner class to run in tandem to are main class on Wednesday nights. Starting 15th June till 20 July. Times are 7:15 to 8:15. The Cost will be £20 inc Insurance.
