What is fitness and what defines health?

Does aesthetics mean you are fit an healthy?

The answer is not always. Although this can be a by product of increasing your training and making better food choices health is more than clean eating.

Health is not only a healthy body but a healthy mind and environment you have around you.

To deprive yourself of opportunities and enjoying the people and environment you have is unhealthy.

We are currently at a point in society where we constantly look for approval or worry about what other peoples perception of us are. Think we need to look and act in a certain way. This needs to change. The only change you should be making is the one you want to make, and what brings you in to a place of all round better health.

Once you are ready to make that positive change in your life you will see the benefits physically mentally and environmentally.

So a few tips from us,

1. Start caring about what you think and not what others think.

2. Take some time for yourself in each day whether it be some gym training, a walk or even read a book.

3. Don't let opportunities pass you by and make the most of them when they come along.

Online only £20 per month with regular online check ins and access to our weekly recipes

Online and in person £40 per month wich gives you a 121 each month regular check ins access to our weekly recipes.

Online nutrition £50 for your nutrition plan only but if you're an existing member of any of our other programs you'll receive 50% off these.

A simple guide on what it is you want to achieve.

This is a very simple mock up of what you can come to expect from various programming.

1) Strength - during a strength program it is important you work through the correct % using the main compound exercises (eg back squat) these blocks of work tend to be no more than 8 reps on your main focused lift. Coupled with plenty of rest and adequate accessory over a block of work this will improve your strength 💪

2) Strength and Conditioning - the main difference between this type of programming and a basic strength program would be some sort of primer pre lifts (typically a plyo movement) with functional accessory being key. The aim of these programs are to get you functionally fit for the sport you do allowing speed and power to go hand in hand with good mobility. 🏋‍♂️🏊‍♂️⛹️

3) Aesthetic - aims of this type of program are simple time under tension. You increase the rep ranges between 8 and 12 (sometimes more depending on the type of sets you're doing) slow the movements down as weve already mentioned time under tension. Variances in training programs such as giant sets drop sets work very well🦸‍♂️🦹

Finding time to train can be extremely difficult especially when you add in family life. 👪

Your time becomes limited and your food choices tend to be the more grab and go quick fix food instead of well planned thought out meals 🍝.

Motivation can be low and your confidence can take a hit.

We are launching our "Mat leave prpgram" (you don't have to be on maternity leave for this it's just what we've decided to call it) this is an 8 week program with 4 sessions per week lasting approximately 45minutes a day to help you rebuild your confidence and get back into some sort of routine for yourself.

It also includes a weekly hints and tips on how to save time for meal prep and or a healthy recipe to help you on your way.🏋‍♂️
