The Midlands Irish over 50s took part in the Caribbean Nations Cup on Sunday 20th July.
Our lads performed heroically against some fantastic National Squads including victories against England and Carribean teams, overall they won 4 games and drew 1 in the league stages to top the table. Then followed a semi-final and Final, Sadly after a 1-1 draw in the Final, England won the penalty shoot out to take the trophy.
Congratulations to everyone who took part, it was a fantastic day. Thanks to Carribean Walking Football Community for hosting and organising the event and thanks to The Jason Roberts foundation

Midlands Irish Walking Football had a great time, even the unexpected extra day in Bordeaux, France due to Easy Jet cancelling our flight home was full of fun
