Good luck tonight to the Under 13 Reds, who hope to carry on their great week after winning promotion to the A League.

Tonight they face a very strong Oakley Blues in the League Cup semi finals.

Layer Colts are looking for a new Fixtures Secretary

The Fixtures Secretary is responsible for coordinating and communicating all weekly match arrangements.

This includes compiling fixture details, submitting them to the relevant leagues, team managers, and the University, allocating home pitches and kick-off times, and informing managers of appointed referees where applicable.

The Fixtures Secretary must ensure that all fixture-related correspondence is completed accurately and within the deadlines set by both the leagues and the Club. They are also responsible for recording and communicating any mutually agreed changes to fixtures, venues, or kick-off times to all relevant parties.

This position is part of the Executive Committee.

The Fixtures Secretary is expected to attend committee meetings and play an active role in the overall management of the Club, supporting additional activities and responsibilities as required.

Congratulations to our Under 13 Reds, whose 6-1 win secured them promotion into the A League.

This is now back to back promotions for them, after winning the C League last season.
