Just for fun today I took my fly rod to a local runs water to surface fish for carp I was welcomed with lots of weird looks and laughing from other people fishing the more recognised way of carp fishing but after getting the carp feeding with dog biscuits and casting a bread fly into the middle of them all I soon had carp in the net and I was the only one laughing it was a good day tight lines

Been a while since I’ve been able to go fishing but but this 35lb Common Carp from Weeley was worth the wait 👍🏽👍🏽🎣🎣

Late night last minute decision to go down to local colchester angling preservation society water got to the lake at midnight got the rods on the water around 1 o’clock this morning and by 3 o’clock had 2 fish 22lb and 13.5lb
