⚽️ We are delighted to announce that Tendring Rovers are starting a brand new Soccability Team! 🖤💛

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy football, be part of a team, and feel included in sport. Whether it’s a mental health condition, a disability, or any other barrier that may have stopped someone from getting involved before, everyone will be welcomed and supported at Tendring Rovers.

We have already had a fantastic amount of interest, but we are looking for even more players to join our team and help us build something special.

We are also currently looking for a coach who shares our passion for inclusion, teamwork and helping others enjoy the beautiful game.

📍 TRAINING LOCATION UPDATE 📍

As we move into pre-season, our training sessions will now be held at King George Playing Fields, accessible via Clairmont Road, Colchester, CO39BE.

With the new season fast approaching, our focus will be shifting towards building fitness, improving conditioning, increasing intensity, and preparing everyone both physically and mentally for the challenges ahead. Alongside fitness work, we’ll continue developing our technical ability, tactical understanding, and team chemistry.

Whether you’re a current player or looking for a new challenge, now is the perfect time to get involved and be part of our journey.

We know this isn’t football related, but we’d appreciate you taking a moment to read and support a young lad who is facing the toughest battle of his life.

We’d like to share this fundraiser for our family friend, Gaige, who is just 16 years old.

On 25th March this year, Gaige and his family’s lives were turned upside down. What started as a lump on his head led to numerous appointments, scans, blood tests and referrals. Following further investigations at UCLH in London, Gaige was diagnosed with lymphoma.

Despite everything he is facing, Gaige is showing incredible strength and courage. He is currently undergoing treatment and remains in hospital, with his mum by his side full-time.

His aunt, Casey, will be taking part in Race for Life on 19th July in his honour and is raising funds to help support Gaige and his family throughout this difficult journey.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small the amount, it would be hugely appreciated. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing the fundraiser to help it reach as many people as possible.

We wish Gaige and his family all the very best and send them our support during this challenging time. ❤️

What an amazing turnout at training tonight! 💪⚽

The commitment, effort and energy from everyone was fantastic to see, and it’s clear the squad is already putting in the work ahead of the new season.

As we continue our preparations for pre-season and focus on getting the squad to full fitness, our training schedule will be changing. Training days, times and location will be confirmed shortly, so please keep an eye out for further updates.

Tendring Rovers FC are still looking to add quality players to what is already shaping up to be a very promising squad for our new men’s 11-a-side team competing in the Essex & Suffolk Border League.

We’re building something exciting, with an experienced coach who has years of knowledge in the game, fantastic managers working tirelessly behind the scenes, and a strong core of talented players already committed to the project.

We are welcoming players aged 16+ and all positions will be considered. We’re looking for ambitious, committed players who want to be part of a club with big plans for the future.
