Del Lawson farrier services I originally trained as a farrier in the Household Cavalry. Since leaving the army in 2000, I’ve worked as a farrier in Surrey shoeing all types of horses.

So this horse came on to my books from Northern Ireland. Not even four years old and just shy of 17 h Irish draft. Why has the farrier/owner or who ever shod it cropped the heels. It was an inch and half short causing the heels to collapse and split. There wasn’t much growth so I don’t think the shoes ever did fit in the first place. If you don’t have shoes to fit then wait until you do surly.
