Coalville Town Bowls Club Finals days ran over the weekend, with some exceptional games, keeping spectators on their toes! It was a great weekend of celebrating, socialising, laughing and remembering.

Congratulations to ALL our players for making the finals and ALL our winners over the weekend. What a club! 🍾🏆🧿

With our condolences, we would like to send our dearest wishes to Neil Biggs' family after he passed away on Wednesday 3rd September 2025. The bowls family have many fond memories of Neil and we honoured his passing with our flag at half mast on finals day, with a speech from Nigel Hammersley. Thought and wishes to all who knew him 🕊

Ibstock A the bridesmaids again in Division one with Ibstock B finishing the strongest in the division holding up the rest. Ibstock C had an equally difficult season in division 3 but avoided relegation as there is no division 4.

Congratulations to New Lount A on retaining their title.

Well done to Battram winning the Division 2 title and gaining promotion to Division 1 for 2026. Market Bosworth A had a good season pushing Battram all the way finishing just 2 points behind them and will be joining them in the top division next season.

Well done to Hinckley and Thringstone in Division 3 securing promotion. Market Bosworth C just missing out on the promotion to Thringstone in the last game of the season.
