Yesterday was BRISK 💨🌧️for a mixed fleet⛵️⛵️⛵️ of comets, lasers/ILCAs, a courageous junior in a topper and even the club’s Vision helmed by two male seniors. All were enticed out by the superb 👌👌southwesterly ↗️↗️which was forecast at 12 gusting 💨💨20 plus. ➕➕For once, the wind gods did not disappoint. They caused a broken ⛓️💥⛓️💥mast to one boat ⛵️and a bent tiller and spectacular crash into the bank to another. Undaunted, both affected helms re rigged and re launched not wanting to miss out on the conditions (FOMO). Our junior topper ⛵️helm took it all in his stride and aced 👍👍both races probably ultimately won 🏆 though by 2️⃣ two men with a 👀⛵️Vision. BTW the image showing the planing laser is from a previous week this season but shows a flavour of the amusement. Excellent work by the safety officer🛟🛟🚤 in challenging conditions.
