Some memories are just different… and this was one of them! ⚽️
Our Jaguars headed to ESF Festival of Football in Skegness and it turned into something even bigger than football. There were great displays, brilliant goals, big tackles, and proud moments - but what really stood out was everything in between.
From the first meet-up to the final whistle, you could see this group growing together. Players encouraging each other, picking each other up, celebrating the small wins as much as the big ones. That’s what made it special.
There were moments where they surprised us, moments where they dug deep, and moments where they just enjoyed being kids playing the game they love.
A proud highlight for everyone was seeing one of our own, Akram, being recognised with a rare “Magic Moment” nomination for a beautiful footballing display. A brilliant achievement, and fully deserved - we are so proud of him for being recognised for the superstar he is! 🌟
Off the pitch, it was just as important. When one of our Jaguars was a little upset, the team were quick to rally around him, giving him words of encouragement and a group hug to get his smile back - a beautiful moment that we are so glad to have captured as a photo to remember.
The laughs, the downtime, the parents and kids coming together, the support from the sidelines… it all adds up to something that doesn't come from coaching. It’s just there, built by every person - and it’s powerful.
We say it a lot, but this really is a special group. Not just because of the football they play, but because of who they are and how they treat each other.
Proud is probably an understatement. Grateful is closer.
