🔵⚫🔵Discoveries Ninjas Vs Cleethorpes Town U7s🔵⚫🔵

First game of the season for our brand new under 7s team at the Bradley this afternoon.

A team we played very early in our development and it was amazing to see how far our girls have come in such a short space of time. We even received some lovely feedback from the opposition manager around how much the girls had improved and how kind and respectful they were.

Personally, I love the new 3v3 format, it's worked wonders for the girls already and after a full season of development I'm genuinely excited to see how far this group can go.

Player of the day went to Arabella. She really impressed both me and Sarah today. Work rate, concentration and effort was all on point today and I'm buzzing for her to give her this recognition.

Brilliant effort by everyone today. Hope they all enjoy the sweets. We keep going and keep working hard.

Great morning of football for the under 7s today at Ross Ground.

A festival of football and another opportunity to challenge ourselves against some top teams and top players. Really happy with how the girls held their own against some established teams, this early into their development it's phenomenal to see how far they've come in such a short space of time.

Player of the tournament today went to Sydney. A great double this week for Syd who also walked away with trainer of the week. She's on fire 🔥

All the girls should be very proud this week though as I am of them.

Last training session before the season starts and the girls get to play their first official game in the league.

Working more tonight on our passing and moving before going into a game of handball to help us with our communication, movement and space.

Special mention to Zara and Sydney for taking the warm up tonight with Sydney taking trainer of the week tonight.

Also, very honored to present the girls witg their very own Clee Town backpacks kindly made by Milo & Nan and again, very kindly sponsored by K.J Plumbing and Heating The girls absolutely loved them and were buzzing to receive them.

Great session tonight in which we worked some more and built up on our passing, throwing some obstacles in the way. We then went onto a 2v1 exercise which worked on the 2 working together to score and the 1 pressing at the right time and defending their goal. Finishing with some shooting practice and a game at the end.

Plenty of smiles tonight which was lovely to see.

🏆The Trainer of the week went to everyone. Genuinely couldn't decide and thought all the girls deserved it for their quality and hard work. 🏆

Thanks again to Stu for helping out tonight.
