By far the most common session that I run each week are consultations. Quite simply a 90ish minute 'chat' (over coffee if local!) where I get to hear about people's plans, or lack of plans, when it comes to their health and fitness. I add my thoughts, advice and sometimes confirmation and then help them to develop the most appropriate pathway that will help them achieve their goal.
I help people take their first step into fitness, I help others break through the BS surrounding the diet industry. Also, some who are extremely experienced with their fitness or competitions, but need some clarity on planning their next 6-12months of training for a very specific event or goal, or when they have chosen to try something completely different and they need some direction. More often than not there is a significant element of not progressing either in the gym or with their diet even though there has been a lot of time, effort and money invested.
What I can help with:
- A healthy (mentally and physically) approach to fat loss
- Stress reduction and prioritisation of health and fitness
- Short, medium and longterm planning for sporting events or activities
- Development of a fitness schedule for those not seeing slow or zero progress
- Pathway back to fitness post injury
People generally hear about these by word of mouth from those who have met up with me previously, or it comes about from the 'Jon you're a PT, my friend needs help!' introduction.
