SestoFlow I teach people a progressive approach to the full range of human movement potential. We are all movers and can either strive to improve or become stagnant.

Get in touch for details of how to begin. Growing up my world was consumed with physical activity.…
I idolised Bruce Lee, Diego Maradona and Jackie Chan. And although I had a keen enjoyment of martial arts, dance and running my world gradually got consumed by the sport of football from childhood through my teenage years. I joined the ranks of Arsenal FC with hopes and dreams of one day becoming a

professional. Timing and injury steered my life in a different direction. After obtaining a Football scholarship to play and study in the US, I returned to the UK and into my first ever ‘office job’ This was the start of a difficult period of life for me. For the first time ever I was without a structured physical routine. I had not appreciated the link of engaging in physical activity and having a team or community to belong to. I became depressed, unfit and unhappy. A transformative experience with plant medicine illuminated the path I needed to take to align with my true nature. This path was, and still is, one of service and sharing my passion for self-improvement of both the mind and body. I discovered ‘movement culture’ and was exposed to practitioners who, in my opinion, epitomised what every human should be striving for with their physicality. Strength, balance, coordination, power, mobility, rhythm and timing. Fast forward a few years of diving down the rabbit hole and I feel and move better than ever! I draw huge fulfilment from helping others find joy in their physical development and building our growing Flowstate Collective community. We are social beings with an inherent need for connection.

I see our need for connection through three lenses.

The first being The connection to our essence, our authentic inner truth, the 'Self'.

The second is our connection to nature, the Earth, our mother. The idea that we are a fundamental part of the tapestry of life.

The third is our connection to others. Real, genuine, maskless, connection to other humans. To be seen and to see the essence of another being.

The modern world, inhibits our ability to find full spectrum connection in healthy ways.

The seeks to remedy this.

A day to come together to remember who and what you truly are and reignite the connection...

To Self

To Nature

And to other beautiful humans.

I've been using these variations of shoulder articulations to warm up on these cold days.
_
I'm a big fan of these as you get to access your entire range of articular motion at that joint.
_
Emphasis can be on maximising control and tension so as to actively move through the articulation, or on being loose and generating 'whip' through the torso so that the arms serve as an expression of the momentum created through the legs and torso.
_
Here I performed 50 reps each side of every drill to ramp up the system for the upcoming strength session.
