Working with .j.lacy.1 on Olympic weightlifting technique and some gymnastics. Last few session focussing on getting his first kipping ring muscle up.

Ensuring he had strong strict muscle ups first, we’ve built up his ring swings then transition techniques. Today was attempts: third one and he’d got his first before moving on to two in a row. 🤸🏼‍♂️

A day spent with Martin Petrus learning the The Wim Hof Method at Crossfit Aldgate

Based on three integrated pillars:

1️⃣ Cold therapy (ice baths and cold showers) for reduced inflammation for immune system and balanced hormones, improved sleep quality and production of endorphins.

2️⃣ Breathing (much of the session we learnt the approach) for more energy, reduced stress and increased immune response.

3️⃣ Mindset/commitment. The method requires this to persevere giving you strength to deal with stressful situations in any capacity.

Charlotte is super confident from her high hang position. But moving down to lower hangs and floor she loves to overthink. This is her just a few weeks into learning the lifts and she’s adapting quickly.
