We had an away game at Glinton. We had a successful first half winning both games, one by 15 - 0. The second half was a a different half as we lost one game and drew the second as we knocked the Jack off the carpet. So the points result was 7 - 3 in our favour.

An update on recent matches, two weeks ago we had a home game with Market Deeping, we had a great result gaining all 10 points with a shot score line of 41 - 15. Last week we hosted Deeping Gate, we won the first game but lost the other three so we finished with 2 of the 10 points.

We had an away league game against Eyebury on Monday, we managed to earn 6 of the 10 points available. We won three of the games but list on shots. Great performance by the whole team.

We had an away cup match against Helpston which we lost three games to one. We had a good start winning the first game but went downhill from then. Helpston will now play Stilton in the next round.

We have had three league games already, we struggled at Market Deeping picking up just 2 points, another away game at Deeping Gate and picked up 4 points, and last week we had our first home game against Glinton, and getting all 10 points with a 60-10 shot score. Great performance by all.

Yesterday we had our away fixture at North Luffenham which usually ends with the same resounding loss. Something surprising happened we managed to get 7 points with shots for 39 and 25 against. We won the first game 18-4 followed by a 7-7, 7-8 and 7-6. We had two 87 year old leads who were outstanding, in fact everyone played well and a special well done to Tracey Leake who reluctantly played skip and won one and drew one.
