What a magical day all round. The fabulous Southport & Ainsdale GC held our annual Solheim Cup match - sadly Europe lost this BUT won the important one!!
What a day - camaraderie, unity, some good and bad golf.
To watch the final couple of hours unfold after play was special.
Congratulations to Europe - brought The Solheim Cup home again and done with class and fine sportsmanship.
Well done to my partner Norma, we just sneaked a win, fab game with Barb and Andrea who won best dressed for the USA 🇺🇸
I reckon this European team are just getting started, bring it on for 2 years time in the USA.

Yesterday was certainly a day for the memory box as myself and 12 open minded golfers spent several hours with Karl Morris, mind coach to many winners including the newly crowned Champion Golfer of the Year, Ryan Fox.
So many light bulbs moments for the group. Honestly fellow golfers if golf isn’t brining you the enjoyment that you once felt perhaps looking at the mental side of golf is the answer instead of the latest new gadget or new driver!
Highly recommend anything you can get your hands on by Karl. His podcasts, his latest book Mind Caddie. It’s so worth delving a little deeper into this critical component of your golf.
What a treat to have this time with Karl.

Warm thanks to Chris and Amanda in the office at Ashton and Lea GC for all their help in coordinating this event with me, massively appreciated. From our private room to the food and even managed to sort the weather! It was perfection. This is a golf club that thinks outside of the box and I am proud to be associated with it.

Finally thank you to the golfers who chose to spend their hard earned money and see value in this event. I hope lots of the nuggets will remain with you forever and keep reading through your notes. Thanks from me!

The most fabulous day with Julia, Ann and Lady Captain of S & A Lynne Sedley. Raising funds for Bebe’s Hive. Thank you Julia for your generous bid for a days golf at the beautiful Southport & Ainsdale GC. A perfect days golf was had and at the same time we were very mindful of the why Bebe’s Hive was founded.
