Because of Rich taking a flag to flag victory at Oulton Park and taking a clean sweep of wins at Cadwell he now has a commanding lead in the championship!!

Rich has one more race today and if he wins that the team has won every race this season with 3 more to go at Pembrey!! 🥇🏆🙌🏼

Oulton Park

BEMSEE Round 1

Last weekend saw the team head to Oulton Park, a track Rich and Dan hadn’t ridden in the dry since 2017 and Dan had a race here in 2019 in the rain so a bit out of practice here!

Day 1

Straight into qualifying with no practice and a track that was very cold with some damp patches meant it was very difficult for all riders. Dan managed to put it on the front row in 3rd with Rich in 8th.

Race 1

The rain came down surprisingly a little bit before the race which meant a damp track which potentially could dry out. Dan had a good start and lead after lap one, Rich jumped up to 6th and was looking good. Dan then had a couple of laps battling with Glynn Davies until he finally broke the tow and stretched a lead to win by over 5 seconds. Rich battled hard and was catching those in front of him but not enough laps meant a P6 finish.

Day 2

Race 2

Dan starting from pole and Rich from 5th looked like this could be a promising race for the team.
Rich went off strong on the warm up lap and looked really good.
Unfortunately a lap one fall for Rich after trying to make a move was a disaster as he really had the pace.
Dan again battled out at the front and with both riders behind making mistakes trying to keep up he ended up winning by over 17 seconds really dominating the rest of the field!!

Race 3

Dan starting from pole and Rich having to come from the back of the grid due to no lap recorded. The team therefore sandwiching the whole grid.
Rich realised early on that the crash before had caused more damage than we had thought and he could not change gear and tried very hard to bring the bike home in the points which he did.
Dan pulled an early lead and looked to be managing it and getting a bit too comfortable meaning a fast lap from Povah behind meant he went into the last lap with a 0.3 lead. It seemed that it was going be hard to keep the place as the momentum was of course against Dan, however his fastest lap of the race meant he held off and won by 0.7 seconds a little bit of a scare but handled very well, and confirmed the 3rd win out of 3! AWESOME 💪🏼🏆🏆🏆

The team are at Donington this current weekend with NG and are already putting in a great performance!!

Sunday 18th April 🏆🏆🏆🏆

The team had high confidence after a great day on Saturday!!

Race 2

Dan starting from pole had a great start and lead into turn one. Rich started in 4th and by the end of lap one had settled into 3rd. Dan then turned on the style and pulled out a steady lead taking the win after leading from start to finish. Rich battling hard for 2nd place with backmarkers playing their part in not allowing him to make a move into 2nd stick, meaning he finished in 3rd!

Race 3

Dan again started from pole but he was beaten into turn one, however he calmly took back 1st place up into Druids going round the outside of Teasdale. Teasdale then tried to return the favour at Graham Hill but failed to do so meaning Rich got into 2nd and with his head down got the drive on Dan out of clearways and with the slipstream meant he lead onto lap two!!! Dan managed to outbrake Rich into turn one and then a replica of the previous race happened, Dan soaked up a bit more pressure and then began to pull away finishing in 1st. Rich was again battling hard for 2nd however he just lost touch by the end of the race leaving him in a comfortable 3rd place finish!!

Overall a great weekend by the team and leaves us in a good place for Oulton Park in a few weeks.

SUPER SATURDAY!!

A great days racing for the team on Saturday with Dan taking pole in qualifying with Rich looking fast but having to pit half way through qualifying, ruining his rhythm and he put it 5th in class!!

Along came Race 1, Dan had a good start and settled in second with yellow flags throughout the first lap and a half he couldn’t make a move. Rich had a mega start jumping a couple of rows to get him right into the train at the front!! Dan made his move up into druids on lap three and then pulled a reasonable 5 seconds gap to win. With Rich battling hard all race for a podium finish just missing out by 0.043 of third place.

We know Rich has the pace to go with Dan so Sunday’s two races will be an awesome watch!!

An eventful but successful testday at Brands today for the team!!!

Both riders were at the sharp end of their group and setting a fast pace!!

Dan was running on one cylinder for first session due to a failed Iridium plug, first and last time we use one of them!

Both have one race tomorrow and two on Sunday!!

It’s Race Week.....

So the team head off to Donington Park tomorrow for Round 3 of the MRO Minitwins championship (well the covid cup) 😉😂

It’s both Rich and Dan competing this weekend and both really enjoy the circuit.

Coming off the back of a successful Cadwell Park where both riders recorded a new PB there and Dan still firmly in the end of season trophy hunt, having taken a 2nd and 1st on the Sunday. It looks to be an important round heading into the home round at Brands in October.

Of course still limited spectators unfortunately and no access to the paddock, so for anyone coming to visit us you will have to watch from afar. We hope to be able to invite sponsors and friends into the garages real soon.
