It was another fab morning for our monthly Thursday Nordic Adventure walk where we got to explore more of our beautiful forest.

We’re so lucky to have this wonderful green open space and to be able to enjoy it in good company too!💚

That was a lot of fun last night!

We had a fabulous time at the Longest Day Nordic Adventure walk last night!

It was such a beautiful evening. And to be able to watch the sun go down whilst drinking champagne at the top of Yates Meadow was a real treat.

It was lovely to see Nordic walkers there who hadn’t walked for a while. Welcome back!

The evening had the perfect ending with drinks at the Royal Forest Hotel afterwards. It was lovely to be able to sit outside and watch the sun go down!

The third instalment of the monthly Nordic Adventure walk took place this morning which is proving to be popular and a lot of fun.

It was lovely to be joined by some our lovely Nordic walkers for another exploration of parts of our beautiful forest that we don’t get to see on the regular one hour walks.

Next month’s Nordic Adventure walk will be on Thursday 2nd July at 10am.

We’re looking forward to being able to showcase even more of our beautiful forest💚💚💚

Nordic Walking Epping Forest turned 16 today and to mark the occasion we held a charity Nordic walk in aid of Blood Cancer UK.

We had a lovely walk in the shade of the trees followed by drinks at the local cafe.

We cannot thank our lovely Nordic walkers enough for their generous donations to a cause which is very close to our hearts💚

We attended a fun and informative course yesterday where we learned all about the latest concept called Total Body walking which uses specifically designed poles to get the most out of this activity.

We were sceptical at first with being very passionate about Nordic walking but we actually came away feeling very positive that this will work very well alongside Nordic walking.

We definitely woke up this morning, knowing that we had had a total body workout! It felt good!

A take away from the course is that Total Body Walking can help a diverse population of people to get fitter and healthier by working at a level that meets their needs.

We’re excited to now be able to offer this fun and effective physical activity! 💚 Nikkii

We had a marvellous start to the week this morning! Lots of our lovely Nordic walkers joined us for some energy boosting, fitness enhancing Nordic walking!

It was lovely to see one lady who was back for another visit since moving to the West Country and well done to another lady for getting some miles in that count towards her Breast Cancer Now charity challenge!
