Nice little addition to our training tonight.
Some enthusiastic parents in the group 👀🤣

A reminder for our neighbours and the nearby communities that RAF Coningsby is next week, starting on Monday 7th September 2026 and finishing each day at around one o'clock in the morning (01:00) local time.
The week’s night flying should finish at around one o'clock in the morning (01:00) local time on Friday 11th September.
Night-flying is a vital skill that needs to be taught and then maintained in order that aircrew and supporting personnel can operate effectively on the front line.

⚽️ TUPTON IVANHOE U8 WHITES vs WINGERWORTH JSA U8 BEARS 🐻🧡🖤

We’re back! 🙌⚽️ The league season is officially underway, and what a game it was! 🔥

The boys gave it everything today and it was fantastic to see them back out there competing, working hard and playing as a team. 💪🧡🖤

This was one of the hardest decisions we’ve had to make! 😬

Me and Kev both agreed that every single player played really well today, making it incredibly difficult to pick just one standout player.

But one player just edged it…

🌟 OSCAR! 🌟

Oscar did not give up all game and covered every single blade of grass! 💪

He made some cracking tackles, worked tirelessly and was constantly looking to push the team forward whenever he had the opportunity. ⚽️🔥

It’s been brilliant watching Oscar settle into the team, and we genuinely feel he fits perfectly into the Bears. 🐻🧡🖤 He has settled in brilliantly and is becoming a fantastic part of the team.

👏 Well done Oscar — thoroughly deserved! 🥇🏆

And a massive well done to ALL the Bears today. What a way to get the league season started! 🐻🧡🖤⚽️

What a fantastic way to celebrate 40 years of Wingerworth JSA with the Bigger Bears! 🐻⚽

Today is all about celebrating what grassroots football is really about — bringing people together, creating memories and giving young players the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful game.

Great friendly tonight against the Lilly Street Lions FC 🧡⚽️

🦁 WHAT A PERFORMANCE FROM THE LIONS! 🦁

The boys absolutely blew us away today. The quality of football, passing combinations, teamwork and work rate were outstanding from every single player.

They played for one another, never stopped working and showed exactly what this team is capable of. The coaches could not be prouder! ❤️🖤

We also want to say a massive thank you to Wingerworth JSA Bears for being such fantastic hosts. They helped create the perfect atmosphere for the friendly and made it a brilliant game for everyone to watch.

They kindly invited us to use their facilities, allowing parents and families to grab drinks and snacks during and after the match. Their hospitality and professionalism were absolutely first-class.

Their coaching team were friendly, welcoming and supportive throughout, showing us exactly how a grassroots friendly should be. Like ourselves, they clearly put the children’s enjoyment and development first, which created such a positive environment for both teams.

We will meet Wingerworth Bears again in the league during the season, and we are already looking forward to it. A great club with a fantastic group of coaches — thank you again for having us! 🤝⚽
